I think the painting is beautiful. But more than that, it has the meaning. With the background, church, people doing their activities. They put the “church” behing them, hide it away from them. Yup, I just think so.

Thanks for sharing your experienc/thoughts. Larry was the single greatest influence on me in playing music, and remembering it should be relevent. Great achievments and pitfall mistakes are what keep us human, and God God. Only Jesus was the perfect man. None of God’s great work was ever lost on Larry, and i won’t have to miss him much longer.

I deeply adore this poem. Perhaps because it describes my present state of Being. I’ve contemplated It in chess terms: opening, middle and end games. Having just entered end game, I am learning a NEW consciousness. Originally feeling guilty for being “boring” as you have elucidated it. Your poem is such a validating confirmation that I’m just fine.

Gosh, this sounded as if the events in my childhood or rather even today when I am in my mid-forties were being narrated.

Though we did not have the Scholastics books, we were never denied any book that we wanted to. It was my Mom who opened this window into the wonder land of reading — and the imagination that followed each book that I read.

Even today I would rather skip my sleep if I have a book in my hand — and at times I do regret the lost sleep — if the book is not to my liking. But never have I been able to put aside a book.

The blog made my day.
